Cleveland County Fire Service was formed in 1974 after the Fire Services Act of that year merged all previous county borough fire brigades into regional county fire services ! There are 2 patterns of this particular cap, both chrome & gilt ! This cap badge is the chrome senior officers variation manufactured by Firmin Badge Company of London. It is the standard issue lined officers wreath cap badge , both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the cap badge & the badge in excellent condition.
