The Fife Fire & Rescue Service was instituted in 1985 after the post ww2 1948 Fife Fire Brigade changed its title to Fire & Rescue Service in 1985. The brigades title remained until 2013 when all Scottish fire brigades merged into the national Scottish Fire & Rescue Service. 

This cap badge manufactured by Mike Trueman Badges of Birmingham who supplied the brigade in the later part of their existence & is in great original condition!
