There are 2 variations of the 2nd pattern Civil Aviation Fire Service cap badge, one variation has blue enamel letters & the other variation has chrome letters. 

This is the blue letters variation manufactured by Marples & Beasley & in excellent condition, the enamel centre fixed to the standard economy issue home office star & both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear.
