Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service was formed in 1993 after the brigade changed it's title to Fire & Rescue Service from Fire Brigade in the same year. The badge lasted until 2004 when the brigade changed badge design. 

This cap badge manufactured by Mike Trueman Badges of Birmingham is in excellent condition. The enamel centre attached to the standard economy issue,lined star by 2 straps, the 2 cap fixing lugs in place to the rear of the cap badge.
