Hastings County Borough Fire Brigade Cap Badge 1948 to 1974 - 2 (two) different badges were in force for the small post war Hastings County Borough Fire Brigade. A seaside resort on the South Coast of England in what is now East Sussex County. They both had shields in the centre of the home office star, one referred to as the “square” shield & the other, a more realistic shield..(to put a better way)! Both badges are good badges to have in collections as Hastings was just a small brigade & with 2 different badges, originals get scarcer & will always appreciate in value as more younger & eager collectors are emerging.
