Air India International was formed in 1953 after the Indian Government nationalised their air industry. Originally formed in 1932 by J.R.D Tata as Tata Airlines carrying mail & passengers & in 2021 was reaquired by  private company TheTata Group. 
This is a nice early 1950's vintage original Air India Flight Attendant's gilt enamel breast badge in excellent condition with the brooch clip assembly intact to the rear of the badge. A great early collectable gilt enamel badge for the airline collectors to own.
