A great condition Anglesey Fire Department post ww2 1948 to 1974 era cap badge manufactured by London Badge & Button Company of Northamptonshire. The badge has the enamel centre fixed to the standard fully pressed issue Home Office star & both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the badge.
Anglesey, an island in North Wales had 5 fire stations covering 276 square miles of area & this cap badge is the 2nd issue from 1952 & used until 1974 when merging into Clwyd County Fire Service.
