This original early issue, light red variation cap badge, the brass lugs showing through chrome being the indication of a late 1940's issued badge, has the enamel centre fixed to the standard economy issue, lined Home Office star & both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the badge. There are 2 very small chips to the enamel but overall the cap badge is a good example of a used and issued cap badge.
