An original issue Birmingham Fire & Ambulance Service cap badge from the post ww2 1948 to 1974 era when the service merged into West Midlands Fire Service. Set on a standard issue economy lined Home Office star, the enamel centre displays a couple of chips ( please see photo's ). Otherwise good a nice original issued cap badge & the thick diagonal line mid yellow variation.
