A nice original condition Cardiff City Fire Brigade 1948 to 1974 cap badge. 
Cardiff City Fire Brigade post ww2 was formed in 1948 when the NFS ( National Fire Service 1941 to 1947 ) handed back fire control to regional county & county borough fire brigades. Cardiff City Fire Brigade had just 1 fire station covering 26 square miles of area. 
The cap badge on offer is in great original condition with the enamel centre fixed to the standard issue lined economy Home Office star & both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the badge.
