An original & hard to obtain Control Commission Germany Police Force cap badge in force for only 4 years until disbandment.
A police force set up to govern & oversee the policing of the British sector of Germany divided up after ww2 ended in 1945. Their job to re train & denazify the existing police operating in Germany into a better force. 
The badge depicts the George 6th cypher centre attached to the Home Office semi pressed star badge, both cap fixing lugs are missing from the rear of the badge.
