A 1984 dated Helmets Limited Cromwell fire helmet, these Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service yellow cork helmets were stock carried over when the brigade changed its title from Fire Brigade to Fire & Rescue Service in 1993. They were issued until the Gallet F1 full faced fire helmet was adopted by Hampshire after trialing other helmets including the Cromwell F6OO full faced visor helmet used by London from 1988 to 1998 when they also adopted the Gallet F1 helmet. 

In good used condition, both liner & chin strap intact & in good condition too, a nice later 20th century fire helmet to add to a fire helmet collection. These type of Cromwell cork fire helmets are becoming increasingly hard to find in good used operational condition & those that do seem to be fetching good money nowadays.
