Holland County Fire Brigade was formed in 1948 after The N.F.S ( National Fire Service ) handed back fire control to regional county n& county borough fire brigades. There are 2 patterns of Holland County Fire Brigade cap badge to collect. The fist issue was a red ring 2 piece cap badge & the 2nd was a 1 piece pressing. Holland County boasted 8 fire stations covering 419 square miles of are & was also officially a part of Lincolnshire county.

This cap badge manufactured by Mike Trueman Badges of Birmingham is in excellent condition. The enamel centre fixed to the standard fully pressed Home Office star by 2 straps, both cap fixing lugs are intact to the rear of the cap badge.
