A nice early Hong Kong Fire Service cap badge from the post 1953 to 1997 British Colonial period. Hong Kong island was leased to Britain for 99 years in 1898 by China & was previously a part of the British Empire after being ceded to Britain after the 1st Opium War in 1841.  Since returning Hong Kong Island to the Chinese government in 1997, the former British Colonial badges used by Hong Kong's military & emergency services have rocketed in price, some changing hands for large sums of money as the Chinese & Oriental badge collectors are snapping up any British Colonial badges appearing on the market. 
This cap badge is a 1950's / 60's economy pressed variation , there are no rear cap fixing lugs present, the badge also has an amount of red paint missing from the front surface.
