This very nice condition unworn white scroll Kent Fire Brigade cap badge from the post 1974 era taking over from the earlier post 1948 grey scroll badge. This badge was issued until 2004 when the new Fire & Rescue Service cap badge came in. These obsolete cap badges were predominantly slider style cap fixings & imprints of the lug spots where lugs would have been fixed are visible on this manufacturers flat backed home office star, the horse centre piece fixed by 2 small wire prongs bent inwards beneath the slider !
