A 1983 dated London Fire Brigade Station Officers Cromwell cork fire helmet in nice original used condition. The helmet is complete with draw string liner & chinstrap, the size is Medium, the drawstring liner has become detached in parts & needs the leather attachment straps sewing back to the string. The helmet is named Station Officer Giles at H23 Lambeth Fire Boat Station. This is a special unit of London Fire Brigade & limited numbers of firefighters operate out of H23 Lambeth. 
There is flaking paint to both the white surface & the black cone where "in service" damage has occurred also. A good honest period station officers helmet from an officer serving at the London Fire Brigade Fireboat Station Lambeth H23 !
