London G.L.C ( Greater London Council ) issued this button on all fire tunics from 1965 to 1988 when the button changed to a triple crown button with the forming of The London Fire & Civil Defence Authority ( L.F.C.D.A ) in 1988. There are 2 variations of this button being a dull chrome version or a light chrome version.
