A nice early issue Merioneth Fire Service in Wales cap badge from 1948 to 1974 in good used condition. The enamel centre attached to the standard issue economy lined Home Office star which is slightly curved. The cap fixing lugs are intact to the rear of the cap badge & are showing brass through the chrome, a great indication of a late 11940's / early 1950's issued badge.
