The Ministry Of Civil Aviation was a newly formed British Government department after the hostilities of world war 2 ( 1939 to 1945 ) had ceased.
This is a good condition original 1947 to 1952  ( 5 years in use only , 1st pattern KC ( Kings Crown ) enamel 2 piece brass & enamel cap badge, the enamel centre attached to the standard issue lined economy pressed Home Office star & both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the badge.
