An opportunity to own one of the rare individually hand painted 1950's Norfolk Fire Service cap badge. These cap badges were hand painted by 2 female Norfolk Fire Service Control officers & are believed to be an issue for Auxiliary Fire Service firefighters. Only a handfull were originally done in both small & large shield variations of the period.  The enamel centre is fixed to the standard lined economy issue Home Office star, both cap fixing lugs intact to the rear of the cap badge, showing brass through which is a great indication of an early produced badge.
