The Swiss M18 steel combat helmet with full ring German style W.W.1 liner, was designed in 1918. This particular M18 helmet is in almost mint condition, exterior surface used to combat glare is particularly good & it also has the early pattern leather chin strap with oval buckle. The head size is determined by adjustment to the standard draw string liner. 
 The MI8 made famous for its shape being chosen on Darth Vaders helmet in the film Star Wars, this helmet is in original condition and a fine addition to headgear collections.
