In April 1999 the first gathering of its sort brought 65 original North American P 51 Mustang fighter planes & 12 original Mustang pilots together. The gathering took place at Kissimmee Gateway Airport Stallion 51 in Florida and went on annually until 2007. It was a fantastic site for thousands to gather to see this unofficial air show which lasted the weekend and became very popular as news spread. This official cloth badge is commemorating the 1st one.
