Vintage Civil Service Motoring Association Car Badge & Lapel Badge - The Civil Service Motoring Association was founded by Frank Vernon Edwards, a senior officer in The Ministry Of Labour, in 1923.
He had a keen interest in motorsports and started the C.S.M.A. Club with just 300 members which grew by 1930 to 5,000.
The car badge is the solid white metal version with enamel Kings crown, stamped "Collins London" on rear.
The lapel badge is similar but unstamped to rear, with standard "half moon" lapel fixing.
Both in used but good condition for age. No lapel chips or damage to enamel.
